Course Description

Hansen Dam Municipal Golf Course is located on the face of the Hansen Dam and provides two very distinct nine hole sections due to the elevation changes and number of trees on the front nine. Hansen Dam is beautifully landscaped and a variety of lies provides a challenge, especially on approach shots to small greens. Hansen Dam golf course was recently picked by Golf Digest as one of the "Best Places To Play" for 2008-2009.

LOCAL RULES OF GOLF
  1. Out of Bounds - Defined with perimeter fences; by white stakes on holes 1, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13; and on hole 9 as marked behind the green.
  2. Lateral Water Hazard - On hole #16 the lake is played as a water hazard inside the yellow stakes and as a lateral water hazard where marked by the red stakes.
  3. Immovable Obstructions - Paved cart paths, drainage ditches and flower beds, nearest relief drop no nearer hole. NO PENALTY.
  4. If a staked tree or its basin interfers with stance or swing, ball shall be dropped within two club lengths, no nearer hole. NO PENALTY.
