Course Description

Harbor Park Golf Course is a 9-hole par 36 regulation course, located in Wilmington, CA (Los Angeles Harbor area). Harbor Park features narrow fairways and fast well-bunkered greens with water hazards on many of the holes. Harbor Park, a medium length regulation course, is one of the most heavily used 9-hole golf courses in the United States. The course was designed by William F. Bell and built in 1958 with a complete renovation in 1994.

LOCAL RULES OF GOLF
  1. Yardage post guides are measured to center of green.
  2. Return ball to respective fairway, two club lengths from nearest point of relief. No Penalty.
  3. Out of Bounds - is defined by the perimeter fences except where indicated. No Relief.
  4. All Protective Fences inside of course. Free Drop.
  5. Each player must have an individual set of clubs and a bag.
  6. Minimum age is 14 except those certified by a city course manager.
  7. A player damaging the course, creating a danger or causing undue delay will be asked to leave.
  8. Carts MUST be kept OFF tees and 30 feet away from all greens.
  9. No golf lessons are allowed on the course.
  10. Disobeying cart rules will result in suspension of cart rental privileges.
  11. On the Tee - Be ready to hit when the group ahead of you is out of your range. Short hitters and beginners hit first. Keep Practice swings to a minimum. Play one ball only, except as permitted by the U.S.G.A. rules.
  12. On the Fairway - Limit practice swings. Select club and hit without delay. Help others search for their lost balls AFTER you hit your shot. Limit search for lost balls to 3 minutes. Drop your passenger at their ball then drive to your ball.
  13. On the Green - Place clubs between green and next tee. Study your putt while others are putting. If you are falling behind, the first player to putt out should go to the next tee and tee off. Record your scores at the next tee, not on the green.
